Blue Decks Win Gundam Kissimmee and Perth Regionals

Gundam Card Game had two more WCS 26-27 Regionals this weekend, and both results kept blue near the center of the GD04 format, which will end soon once EB01 is released.

In Kissimmee, Krasnic reportedly won with Blue/Purple Barbatos Rush, giving “Blurple” another major result after already leading recent store-level usage in Japan. The deck has been one of the format’s most talked-about archetypes for weeks, so seeing it convert a Regional is not exactly shocking, but it does reinforce why players keep preparing for it.

Over in Perth, Larry won with Blue/Green Zeon Aggro, according to the public decklists shared by TAK Games. That result is a little more interesting from a spread perspective, because it gives Blue/Green a strong finish while still keeping blue as the common thread.

So the weekend’s cleanest takeaway is simple: GD04 may not be locked into one exact deck, but blue is still everywhere. Between Barbatos Rush, Zeon Aggro, and the broader Blue/Purple presence, the color continues to shape the format’s early Regional season.
