Blue/Green Still Leads Gundam's Store Meta as Green/Purple Rises
Blue/Green remains the most-played pairing in Gundam's Japanese store qualifiers, while Green/Purple jumps into third place.
Bandai has published deck usage from the August 3 to 9 Japanese store qualifiers, which includes Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission 4 and the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 Store Qualifier Season 1. The data implies that Blue/Green remains the deck to beat in popularity, making up 30.3% of the field.
The deck lost 5.2 percentage points compared to the previous report, but it still has a large lead over Blue/Purple at 16.2%. The biggest mover was Green/Purple, which increase from 4.8% to 11.1% and took third place. Blue/White moved the other way, falling from 17.5% to 10.2%, while Red/White stayed close to where it was at 10.5%.
Blue remains everywhere in this data, appearing in four of the six most-played pairings. Green is the color worth watching, though: beyond Blue/Green, every Green pairing in the top 10 gained ground this week.
