Build & Battle Is Back on Pokémon TCG Live’s Schedule

Pokémon TCG Live has updated its 2026 Build & Battle Event Schedule, giving players another way to play outside the usual Standard ladder.

Build & Battle events are closer to what you'll experience in an official physical prerelease event. You open event packs, build a 40-card deck, and play with whatever pool the event gives you instead of bringing your own meta list. That makes them a good change of pace, especially right now when Standard is still heavily shaped by the same group of top decks.

The current event is Mega Evolution: Chaos Rising, followed by short runs for Destined Rivals from June 4-6 and Twilight Masquerade from June 6-8. After that, Mega Evolution: Perfect Order runs from June 8-18.

These are not major competitive events, but they are a good excuse to try limited play, use different cards, and take a small break from the ladder.
