Crystal Rune leads the deck distribution at Extra Championship Kanagawa
Crystal Runecraft made up nearly a quarter of the field at Japan’s Extra Championship Kanagawa, followed by Rally Swordcraft and Ramp Dragoncraft.

The Shadowverse Extra Championship 2026 Kanagawa event took place this past weekend, August 15 in Yokohama, using a BO1, 2 decks format. Official numbers revealed by @shadowverse_evt, show the Crystal Runecraft was the most popular deck at 24.7%. Following it is Rally Swordcraft at 15.4% and Ramp Dragoncraft at 12.6%.

Artifact Portalcraft was the next most popular deck at 11.4%, followed by Evo Havencraft at 7.0% and Egg Portal at 6.6%. Lhynkal Runecraft appeared in 5.0% of the field.
Crystal Rune’s lead was smaller than its 42.5% and 43.0% shares in the recent SVO Season 2 Preliminary 2 snapshots, although those numbers came from events where each player had two decks, so it isn't fair to compare it to this single deck event.
Still, the Kanagawa numbers point to the same conclusion. Crystal Rune remains the most popular strategy in the Japanese competitive scene, while Rally Sword and Ramp Dragon are next.
