Early Chronicle of Destiny Deck Data Points to Dragoncraft
Data from the first full day of Chronicle of Destiny show Dragoncraft far ahead in early 5+ win posts, with Swordcraft as the next most used class.

Dragoncraft is the first big story of Chronicle of Destiny, Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond's newest set.
Looking at early 5+ win decklists shared through Shadowverse Wins, Dragoncraft showed up more than any other class by a wide margin. Out of 57 unique lists we looked at from shadowverse-wins.com, 27 were Dragoncraft, nearly half of the sample. That does not mean Dragon is half the entire ladder, since early shared lists always come with some bias, but it is still a useful first look at what players are winning with and choosing to share.
The Dragoncraft core is the clearest signal. New cards like Lumiore & Argente, Shining Wings, and others like like Sloth of the Crestpetal, Dragonsign, Galmieux, Ardor Manifest, Burnite, Anathema of Ash, and Erntz, Governing Justice all appeared as full playsets in every Dragon list.
Zooey, Ally of the World was everywhere too, missing only one copy across the entire sample. Put simply, people are trying almost the exact same 40 of Ramp Dragon. Me, included. Even though my list includes Alabaster Bahamut.
Swordcraft was the second most common class, with 11 lists. Its builds also seem to be settling into the same deck, with most of them appearing to be Rally Sword. Orchestrated Silence and Sharp-Eared Operative both appeared as full playsets in 10 of the 11 lists, while Mars, Conflagrant Commander was right behind at 29 total copies.
For Swordcraft, the big new cards were Mars, Conflagrant Commander, and Bunny & Baron, Fate’s Bullet. Portalcraft’s sample was smaller, but also very locked in: Asher & Lydia, Paths Beyond and Eudie, Your Dependable Mentor appeared in all five Portalcraft lists.
For now, Chronicle of Destiny’s first snapshot looks heavily centered around Dragoncraft, with Swordcraft close enough to matter and smaller samples for Portalcraft, Runecraft, Forestcraft, and Abysscraft.
It is still very early, of course. These are first-day shared decklists, not a final answer to the format. But the first takeaway is simple: if you are testing the new set today, you probably want to know what your deck does into Dragoncraft. Play it, or go against it :).
