Lorcana's Wild Unknown Release Day

Disney Lorcana’s Wilds Unknown officially releases everywhere today, May 15, moving the set out of prerelease weekend and into the hands of everyone else.

The big headline is Pixar finally entering Lorcana, with Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Brave joining the card pool. That alone gives the set a lot of casual hype, but competitive players will be watching for something different: which cards actually survive beyond the excitement of release week.

Prerelease events gave players an early look, but constructed testing is where Wilds Unknown will really have to prove itself. New characters, new support pieces, and a fresh batch of 200+ cards could shake up deckbuilding, especially if any of the Pixar cards fit cleanly into existing archetypes.

For now, Wilds Unknown is in that fun first-week stage where everyone has theories and nobody has enough reps yet. The next few days should tell us whether the set is just a big collectible moment, or the start of a real Lorcana meta shift.
