Major Card Tournaments This Weekend: June 5 to June 7

This weekend is packed with several major events in the games we cover, especially for Pokémon, Shadowverse, Lorcana, Gundam, and One Piece.

The biggest Pokémon event is Pokémon Japan Championships 2026, running June 6-7 at Pacifico Yokohama. For the TCG, this might be the most important Japanese event of the season, and it comes at a good time with Dragapult still sitting near the top of both Japan and international results.

Shadowverse also has a major finish this weekend with the Shadowverse Open 2026 SEAO Season 1 Grand Finals. Last weekend's BO3 Showdown ended with Swordcraft and Dragoncraft winning the event. Will it be any different this time?

Disney Lorcana has a big European stop with the Dortmund Challenge in Infinity Constructed, running June 5-7. After recent CCQ results like Amber/Emerald Dogs winning UK Games Expo, Dortmund should give us another look at where the larger Lorcana field is headed.

Gundam Card Game continues its WCS 26-27 Regionals Season 1 circuit with two events: Kissimmee, Florida on June 6 and Perth, Australia on June 7. After Red/Blue Cruz Control won Peoria while Blue/Purple remained the most played deck in Japan’s store meta, these are worth watching closely.

One Piece Card Game also has a busy weekend. The official schedule lists Regionals in Perth and Santiago, while Europe has the Lucca Regional on the same weekend. With Purple Enel still putting up big results, these events could give us another good read on the OP15 format.

Riftbound looks quieter for major competition this weekend, but Utrecht Regional Qualifier is coming soon on June 12-14.
