Swordcraft and Dragoncraft Hold the Early Chronicle Meta After the First Weekend
Shadowverse Wins lists from July 4 onward still point to Swordcraft and Dragoncraft as the top Chronicle of Destiny decks.
Chronicle of Destiny's first weekend did not push Swordcraft or Dragoncraft out of the spotlight. On the other hand, it made the top of the format look more defined.
Looking at 69 unique 5+ win lists shared on Shadowverse Wins from July 4 onward, Swordcraft showed up the most with 19 lists. Dragoncraft was right behind with 18. Runecraft followed with 9, Portalcraft had 8, Forestcraft had 7, Abysscraft had 5, and Havencraft had 3.
Keep in mind this is posted-results data, not the whole ladder. It only tells us what players are winning with and sharing. But compared to the first two Chronicle snapshots, the weekend didn't really changed that much. Dragoncraft and Swordcraft are still everywhere.
The Swordcraft lists are mostly Rally Sword. Orchestrated Silence, Sharp-Eared Operative, Gildaria, Anathema of Attunement, Bunny & Baron, Fate's Bullet, Knellclaw Lieutenant, Metronomic Medic, and Mars, Conflagrant Commander all appeared as full playsets in every Swordcraft list in this sample. High-Strung Liaison and Cesar, Accordant Major were barely behind, with 53 total copies each across 19 lists.
It's the same with Dragoncraft, with most deck playing Ramp. Sloth of the Crestpetal, Dragonsign, Zooey, Ally of the World, Lumiore & Argente, Shining Wings, and Erntz, Governing Justice were all full playsets in all 18 Dragoncraft lists. Galmieux, Ardor Manifest missed only one copy across the whole Dragon sample, while Burnite, Anathema of Ash appeared in every list too.
As for the new cards, Bunny & Baron and Mars were the most-used Chronicle of Destiny cards in the weekend sample, with Lumiore & Argente right behind them. Wills United, Naht & Vince, Force and Order, Eudie, Your Dependable Mentor, Stormy Blast, and Amethyst's Naptime round out the next tier.
