Swordcraft Slides From Second to Sixth as Chronicle of Destiny's Ladder Shifts

Portalcraft tops the Class Rating snapshot for a third straight week, averaging 2143.7 across its top 10 and holding the highest single rating in the game at 2179. Runecraft (2123.0) and Forestcraft (2109.8) fill out the top three, while Abysscraft (2042.1) sits alone at the back, more than 50 points behind sixth place.

The bigger change is near the bottom. Last week's data had Swordcraft second and Dragoncraft third; both have now been passed, with Swordcraft falling all the way to sixth and Runecraft climbing from fourth to second. Only Portalcraft on top and Abysscraft at the bottom held their positions.

Every class still gained ground, but far less than before. The spread of weekly gains was 88.7 to 128.4 points in the July 14 capture. This week it is 52.9 to 107.3. That deceleration is what makes this week's recap interesting: the post-reset filling-in is mostly done, so a class moving up now is moving relative to classes that have also stopped climbing fast. Swordcraft gained the least of anyone at 52.9, which is exactly why it dropped four places.

Runecraft is this week's winner. Its top 10 is the tightest in the game at 47 points from #1 (2153) to #10 (2106), and its top two sit 2 points apart, so its second-place average comes from a narrower spread instead of one outlier. Dragoncraft is the opposite: 106 points from top to tenth, the widest spread of the week. Forestcraft's #1 at 2168 is 48 points clear of its own #2, the biggest gap between a class's top two players.

Portalcraft's lead is starting to look stable and dominant, just like Artifact was last season. The class to watch next week is Swordcraft, one of the strongest at the beginning of the season, which explained why everyone turned against it.
