Card Spotlight: PG-Sengoku from the Upcoming OP16 Set
Sengoku gives Navy decks a huge late-game swing in OP16, turning 8 active DON!! into up to 3 Admirals from hand.

OP16, THE TIME OF BATTLE, introduces Sengoku as a new purple-green Leader, giving Navy decks a very explosive late-game direction.
Sengoku is a 5000-power Leader with 5 life and the Navy type. His Activate: Main effect lets you return 8 active DON!! cards to your DON!! deck to play up to 3 Admiral Characters with different names from your hand.
That is a huge effect. Returning 8 active DON!! is a real cost, but playing up to 3 Admiral Characters at once can completely change the board in a single turn.
The plan is pretty clear. Sengoku wants to build toward a powerful late-game turn where he can drop multiple Admirals together and overwhelm the opponent with immediate board presence. Instead of playing one large threat, the deck can create a full board swing.
The different-name restriction matters too. Sengoku rewards players for building with multiple Admiral options instead of relying on only one payoff. If the deck has strong Admiral Characters across different costs and effects, one hand can suddenly become a massive board.
The biggest challenge will be timing. Since the effect requires 8 active DON!!, the deck needs to reach the late game and keep enough resources to make the Leader ability worth it. If the setup works, though, the payoff is extremely strong.
THE TIME OF BATTLE releases on June 12.
