Crazy Raccoon, DFM, Levanga, and REJECT Win Shadowverse Premier Series Round 1

Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27, a tournament that brings together eight professional Japanese teams, opened this weekend. I watched most of it, and wow, the matches were incredible. I saw plays I couldn't think of, unique mulligans, and a few of those top decks that seal games. Seriously, watch some of them: https://www.youtube.com/live/4cbnMJyaBDA

Round 1 was split across two days, with each team bringing seven Rotation decklists, one for each class. The first half featured Crazy Raccoon vs ZETA DIVISION and DetonatioN FocusMe vs VARREL, while the second half had Levanga Hokkaido vs RIDDLE ORDER and MURASH GAMING vs REJECT.

The opening results were:

• Crazy Raccoon 3-1 ZETA DIVISION
• DetonatioN FocusMe 3-1 VARREL
• Levanga Hokkaido 3-1 RIDDLE ORDER
• REJECT 3-2 MURASH GAMING

Most of the round was fairly clean, with three teams taking 3-1 wins. The closest match was REJECT vs MURASH GAMING, which went all the way to 3-2.

To us, these results and decks are a statement of the current meta. Unlike ladder screenshots or posted win streaks, these are locked team submissions, so they give us a better idea of what organized teams are willing to trust in an official setting after Chronicle of Destiny.

Round 2 starts on July 15, with Crazy Raccoon facing VARREL and ZETA DIVISION playing Levanga Hokkaido.
