Gundam Card Game Is Getting a 1st Anniversary Archive Book
Gundam Card Game’s 1st Anniversary Archive book celebrates the game’s first year with card lists, selected artwork, interviews, and an exclusive Amuro & ν Gundam promo.
Gundam Card Game is getting a new 1st Anniversary Archive book, and while this is not exactly tournament news, it is definitely something collectors and card art fans should keep an eye on.
The book is planned for late July and looks like a full celebration of the game’s first year. According to listings, it will include a complete card list through Freedom Ascension [GD05], promo cards, selected card illustrations up through Steel Requiem [GD03], custom deck content, columns, and interviews.
There is also a paper-edition bonus: an alternate-art Amuro & ν Gundam Resource card, which is good for people who like keeping these anniversary products or collecting unique versions of staple cards.
It also puts Gundam in a similar lane to other Bandai games like One Piece, which received a 1st Anniversary Complete Guide featuring over 1,000 cards, deckbuilding notes, interviews, and bonus cards. Gundam’s card art has been one of the best parts of the game so far (and what motivated us to play the game!), so having a dedicated archive/gallery product feels like a nice natural next step.
