Two Lorcana Dortmund Events, Two Different Winners
Alessandro Danesi and Alex Kuik split the Lorcana Dortmund weekend, winning back-to-back Challenge events with different ink pairs.
Disney Lorcana had a busy Dortmund weekend, with two Challenge events running back to back.
The first event was won by Alessandro Danesi on Amethyst / Emerald, while the second went to Alex Kuik on Amber / Steel. Two tournaments in one weekend already makes Dortmund interesting, but two different ink pairs taking the trophies makes it even better.
Both players also have some history at big Lorcana events. Danesi previously made Top 8 at DLC Bologna with Amber / Emerald Dogs, while Kuik also finished high at Bologna and has shown up in other European results. So this was not just a random weekend spike. These were strong players converting again.
The deck split is the part to watch. Amethyst / Emerald and Amber / Steel are very different approaches, and Dortmund gives us another reminder that Lorcana’s current field still has room for multiple plans to win major events.
